Overheat is a digital magazine that aims to create constructive discussion with gamers and for the gaming community. Bored by traditional publications only doing reviews and accessory recommendations? We’ve got you covered. 

We promise to be informative and accurate in the delivery of our messages because we believe conveying an authentic representation of gamers is important, especially when people have long associated stereotypes of this group of people.

We recognise everyone, from men to women, from amateur to competitive players, and from home to international players, has different approaches, favourites and strategies towards it. Everyone is welcomed to engage with us in conversations, whether you are just beginning your gaming journey or you are a pro in the field.

In addition to traditional journalism, we are looking to dive deep into the lesser-known sides of gaming and put the spotlight on indie developers, as well as discover the lesser known parts of our industry and emphasise the importance of looking after people’s mental health amongst the player community. There is a lot of content within the industry which the mainstream media outlets have ignored, but is worth exploring.

We also value inclusivity and diversity, and we are looking to reflect the experience of gamers from all genders, ethnicities, sexualities, abilities and identities. Gaming is accessible to everyone regardless of who they are and we aim to recognise them all with our articles.
